FACULTY OF ARTS RELIGIOUS STUDIES STUDENT RESEARCH ASSISTANT COMPETITION #100S07
Applications are invited for one student research assistant in Religious Studies with Dr. Joe Velaidum.
DUTIES: The student who is hired will help develop a standardized format for first-year online courses, including editing lectures, testing different computer programs and applications, and collaborating with other interested faculty and administration.
QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with "Moodle", and experience with both Mac and Microsoft audio and video editing software. The successful candidate must also show imaginative skill in creating audio and video files, movies, and/or podcasts. Priority will be given to hiring University of Prince Edward Island Students in accordance with Recruitment Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures Manual.
HOURS: 15 hours per week (negotiable)
TERM: July 23, 2007 - December 17, 2007 (negotiable)
RATE OF PAY: $8.90 per hour (includes vacation pay)
