• High school, undergraduate, medical or graduate (not yet engaged in thesis research) students enrolled at accredited institutions in North America
• Conducting research project on digestive diseases or nutrition for a minimum of 10 weeks, supervised by a preceptor
• Preceptor must be a full-time faculty member at who is directing a research project related to gastroenterology and be a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA)
• Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply
