JOB SUMMARY: Duties include: assisting students in Language Laboratory including with French language acquisition and pronounciation; assisting and guiding students through new computerized French Learning methods; supervising laboratory monitors including monitoring hours worked and preparing timesheets; resolving non-technical problems; disrtibuting various materials including tapes, diskettes, and written materials; maintaining records of students tests and attendance; sorting tests for individual instructors; and performing other related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation plus minimum two years of related experience. Fluency in oral and written French and English required. Teaching experience an asset. Computer experience required. Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Ability to acquire specialized knowledge independently and to adapt to new situations.
